SLA Provincials
QCMBL Qualifying Procedure
1.  If QCMBL receives 2 entries

  - The first place team as of June 1st receives an automatic entry to represent QCMBL in SLA provincials.
The second team will be determined as follows:
5 (or more) Team Division
- Second place team will play fifth place team and the third place team will play the fourth place team in a one game playoff.
- The winners of the 2vs5 and 3vs4 games will play, with the winner receiving the second berth in the SLA provincials to represent QCMBL.
4 Team Division
- Third place team will play fourth place team to receive a birth into QCMBL provincial playdowns.       - Second place team will play winner of (3rd vs 4th game) with the winner receiving the second berth in the SLA provincials to represent QCMBL.

2. If QCMBL receives one entry

- The first place team plays the fourth place team and second place team plays third place team.
- The winners of the 1vs4 and 2vs3 games will play, with the winner receiving the berth in the SLA provincials.

Standings will be determined as follows:

Standings in Pee Wee/ Bantam/Midget will be based on games completed up to and including June 1

Standings will be based on winning percentage, as all teams may not have played the same number of games at this cut-off date.
Note: Moose Jaw or other associate teams do not participate in the provincial qualifying procedure but games against Moose Jaw or associate teams count in the standings.

SLA Provincial requirements
All teams must submit a $200 entry fee in addition to the performance bond. The entry fee must be paid by the roster deadline.
For each team entering a Provincial Championship competition, the association must submit the complete roster no later than ten (10) days prior to the date of the competition.
i) The maximum number of new players added and/or registered onto a club team prior to the existing ten (10) day deadline shall be three (3) runners and one (1) goalie for Zones 2(Regina) & 6(Saskatoon). Teams in zones 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8 may add any number of players from within their club/zone to the existing team to a maximum total of 18 runners and 2 goalies. However, 1st and 2nd year associations are exempt from this policy and may send an all-star team for each age.

ii) Each player must be registered with the SLA by the registration deadlines.

iii) Transfers are only required for players not in the same club/association.

iv) In accordance with 5.01.16., no overage players are allowed to participate in any age group of provincial championships. However, younger players may be affiliated with a team as long as they are placed on the roster prior to the deadline indicated in 5.01.4 and meet the condition of 5.01.5 b) i).

Note: Only players registered with QCMBL will be allowed
to be added to a roster for provincials.
