QCMBL envisions a future which offers athletes and coaches and officials in Regina the opportunity
to discover, learn, participate in, enjoy, and ultimately embrace a shared passion of the box lacrosse experience. To further promote and grow the sport of lacrosse in Regina through valued organization, training, education and participation.
OUR MISSION
To facilitate, develop and uphold the integrity of the sport of lacrosse in and around Regina, to build
up the character, sportsmanship, knowledge of the game and athleticism of our participants, and to present and promote the sport of lacrosse in our community. QCMBL aspires to be an outstanding educational-athletic sports organization that provides a high-quality experience to every lacrosse
athlete. A high-quality experience is one in which every athlete
- Is coached using the principles of Positive Coaching
- Has fun playing the game
- Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of the game and improves as a player
- Feels like an important part of the team regardless of ability
- Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing floor
We recognize that the coach is the one who most directly makes this all possible. It is our goal to provide every coach with tools to be able to be successful as a Positive Coach. We are committed
to creating a positive culture in which coaches, parents, fans, officials and athletes work together to achieve our mission.

POSITIVE COACHING ALLIANCE
The QCMBL follows the youth sports philosophy espoused by the Positive Coaching Alliance, a Stanford University-based organization with a mission to "transform youth sports so sports can transform youth." The QCMBL is the first organization in Saskatchewan and fourth in Canada to be selected as a model youth sports organization by the Positive Coaching Alliance for 2008. We are
